Joseph Oregon Wood Crafting

The wonderful nature and variety of wood presents an opportunity to create truly unique objects.

Ralph's WildCrafting

Ralph's WildCrafting features carved and embellished native wood, bone, and other wild and found organic objects. Ralph Anderson, a long-time Wallowa county wildlife biologist and artist. is drawn to the shapes, function, and form of wild and found natural objects. He finds inspiration in his knowledge of the creatures and species involved and his fascination with traditions and human perspectives. He brings them together in functional and decorative objects from mountain mahogany rings and gem studded rattles to gourds, freeform spoons, carved feathers, and life-size carved claws and canines of bears, wolves, cougars and coyotes. His studio is the wild outdoors of Wallowa County. Catch up with him and his work (when he's not in the woods) by calling 541-398-0508 or 541-398-0070.
